Terasawa Kie was born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1997. She studied at Tama Art University, Toyama Institute of Glass Art, and Kanazawa Utatsuyama Kogei Kobo (Craft Studio), and currently creates glass works in Kanazawa City. Her work centers on attempting to capture “life” from aspects of decay and death, expressing these themes through sculpture and installation. Her awards include the Runner-up Grand Prix in the SICF22 EXHIBITION category and the Excellence Award at the Artists’ Fair Kyoto Mynavi Art Award. Her works are held in the collection of Kanazawa Utatsuyama Kogei Kobo. Major exhibitions include solo exhibitions “Shojo – Living Life” at Gallery O2 (2024), “Wrapped in Red, Living” at Galerie numero9 (2025), and GO FOR KOGEI (2025).
